Attractions and Accommodation in Aberdeen

Aberdeen is situated in the North East of Scotland and it has flourished thanks to the discovery of Oil in the North Sea. That has brought a lot of business to Aberdeen and the area is becoming a popular commercial and tourist area.

Transport

There is an airport in Aberdeen, situated to the north of the city in Dyce about a 10 minute drive from the city centre and easily accessible by bus. There are a number of domestic and international flights available with flights to France and Spain as well as other European destinations.

The main train station is a short walk from the city centre and there are direct trains from Aberdeen to major cities such as London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. There are also trains to several of the smaller towns in the Aberdeenshire region.
